New project identity and document suite outlining the future use of Yarra’s spaces.
City of Yarra
The project identity Wireframe uses a “from the ground up” and “from the inside out” graphic approach in communicating the housing strategy.
Like a wire-frame model depicts the underlying design structure in 3D – this identity seeks to communicate that the policy is transparent, multi-dimensional and relates to forms and structure. This identity also references the neon signage Yarra is famous for.
The message of this identity is: we’re looking at this from every angle – and we have all the information we need to produce an outcome that will be sustainable in the future while celebrating our historical forms.
The themes of spatial economics and employment, “where we work” and “jobs for people”, is dynamic and energetic.
The Colour and Pattern lockup represents the energy and movement of people. These concepts also take the wireframe “Y” and typesetting, and turn it into a universal Yarra Planning scheme identity. See the full extended identity kit.
The style rolled out into printed material – A4 multipage and single information sheets.
