Diabetes Victoria does vital work in our state supporting those whose lives are affected by diabetes: providing advice and education, funding research into treatments, advocating for people with diabetes and providing emotional support. Not for profit organisations need all our help to continue the vital work they’re doing, and key to this is fundraising.
Diabetes Victoria has served our community for over 70 years, and one of their very first programs – still running today – is taking children with type 1 diabetes on summer camps where they can find out about their condition, develop a support network amongst their peers and learn things like how to administer insulin and monitor blood sugar levels, all while having fun!
Blue Vapours was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such an effective organisation that makes a real difference to people’s lives. This fund-raising campaign features a Christmas and holiday camp theme, bringing hope and optimism to the design, providing active engagement from supporters in the form of charitable donations.
