In the City of Maribyrnong, the Oriental Horoscope has particular significance as so many of their traders and residents come from Asian backgrounds. "The Year of the Rat" was particularly special for us because Blue Vapours' directors are rats themselves (in a nice way!). The brief was very explicit - colours and forms must be conducive to oriental representations of success, joy and prosperity. The rollout included vinyl banners for the central Footscray retail district, large flags for the entrance to the council area and door stickers for the Footscray Asian Traders Association.
